Intentional Wedding Ceremonies
It should feel real.
It should feel intentional.
It should feel like the two of you.
I work with couples who want something meaningful—not scripted, rushed, or one-size-fits-all.
Together, we’ll create a ceremony that reflects your relationship, your values, and the life you’re choosing to build.
Your love doesn't need to fit a template.
Whether you're planning a traditional wedding, an intimate gathering, an elopement, or something entirely your own, your ceremony should reflect who you are.
I create inclusive ceremonies for LGBTQ+ couples and for anyone who wants a wedding ceremony that feels authentic, personal, and true to their relationship.
You don't have to leave any part of yourselves at the door.
Your wedding ceremony is more than just the part before the celebration—it’s the moment everything begins.

Frequently asked questions
Do you officiate LGBTQ+ weddings?
Absolutely. I create inclusive, affirming ceremonies for LGBTQ+ couples and welcome couples of all identities, backgrounds, family structures, and relationship stories.
Your ceremony should never require you to leave any part of yourselves at the door.
Can you help us write our vows?
Yes. Vow guidance is included in the Signature Wedding Experience, and I also offer dedicated vow-writing support for couples who want more help finding the words.
You don't have to be a writer. You just have to know what you want your partner to understand.
Can we include religious or cultural traditions?
Yes. Your ceremony can include the traditions, beliefs, rituals, or cultural elements that are meaningful to you.
My role isn't to tell you what your ceremony should look like. It's to help you thoughtfully incorporate the pieces that belong in your story.
Do you attend wedding rehearsals?
Rehearsal attendance is included in the Full-Service Wedding Experience.
If you're choosing another experience and would like rehearsal support, we can discuss whether it makes sense to add that support to your ceremony plans.
Do you perform elopements and micro-weddings?
Yes. Intimate celebrations can be just as meaningful as larger weddings.
Whether you're planning an elopement with just the two of you, a small gathering with your closest people, or something in between, we can create a ceremony that fits the experience you're envisioning.
Can we include a handfasting ceremony?
Absolutely. Handfasting can be incorporated into your wedding ceremony as a meaningful ritual representing the joining of your lives.
How does the marriage license work?
I'll help you understand the steps for obtaining your Minnesota marriage license and make sure you know what needs to happen before and after your ceremony.
I'll also handle the officiant portion of the process, including completing and returning the marriage paperwork as required.
Requirements can vary depending on where you're getting married, so we'll make sure you know what's expected before your ceremony.
Do we have to know exactly what we want before we book?
Not at all. You don't need a ceremony outline, a list of readings, or perfectly written vows before you reach out. That's part of what I'm here for.
We'll start with a conversation about the two of you, and we'll build from there.
What makes your ceremonies different from a traditional wedding ceremony?
Your ceremony shouldn't exist simply to say the legal words. I take time to learn about you and what matters to you, then create a ceremony that reflects your story, values, and relationship.
The goal isn't to make it look different. It's to make it feel like you.
Can we write our own vows?
Absolutely. Your vows are yours, and there is no requirement that they follow a particular format.
You can write your own vows, use a traditional format, share something short and simple, or create something completely different. If you're not sure where to begin, I'm happy to offer guidance.
Let's create something real.
You don't need to have every detail figured out before you reach out.
Tell me what you're imagining, what matters to you, and what you want your ceremony to feel like. We'll figure out the rest together.
